Venture Coffee began with a burning desire to spread Love, which required taking a leap of faith, venturing beyond what I knew. Luckily with the help of old friends with a lifetime of adventure and stories together we decided to join forces. The passion and creativity shared is what makes this coffee so special.
Each specialty, organic and high quality bean is consciously and ethically sourced. These principles of consciously acquiring our coffee from farm to cup lie at the heart of what we do.
When initiating the project the main focus was conveying the coffee related theme using rich and deep colours combined with airy and softer hues to give sufficient contrast and ensure that the theeme of coffee is conveyed, while still feeling inviting and quality.
A lack of colour schemes for the website allowed a wider variety of colours to be used throughout the site without restriction. Ultimately the theme was matched up to the images which were used on the site for a consistent feel throughout.
Typography was a combination of Playfair Display and Open Sans which when combined are elegant in their uses and complimentary. Playfair Display is used for larger text headings while Open Sans was used for legibility of the smaller text throughout the site.

Conclusion
Since beginning web design in 2018 I have always wanted a coffee website to showcase on my portfolio. In the end I would have loved to have more creative freedoms with the website however, the end product is still more than satisfactory.
I especailly enjoyed the quality of the images and logos that were provided, this made it easy to break up the images into smaller sections for use on the site. As a tip to anyone reading this, always provide your designer with the highest quality images possible.
I enjoyed working with the owner, Jess, on the website whereby I learnt more about coffee than I thought possible! Jess is truly a warm and inviting soul and I would full recommend the Grounds of Goodness Blend that Venture Coffee offers!
